Ashok Dinasarapu has M.Sc (2000, Biochemistry) and Ph.D (2007, Biochemistry/Bioinformatics) from University of Hyderabad, India, and M.Tech (2002, Biotechnology) degree from Anna University, India. He completed B.Sc (1997, Chemistry and Biology) from Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada, India. Before starting Ph.D work, Dr. Dinasarapu worked for a short time at the Monoclonal Antibody Division, Shantha Biotechnics, Hyderabad (now a Sanofi-Aventis Company) as a Research Associate. His expertise, in biology and bioinformatics, includes high-throughput data analysis, data standards and integration, database and application development, immunology, biochemistry and molecular biology. In addition to being actively involved in research, Dr. Dinasarapu also engages in professional service activities. He provides extensive article reviewing for over 15 such journals and conferences as Bioinformatics, Metabolomics, Briefings in Bioinformatics, Molecular BioSystems, Journal of Proteomics & Bioinformatics and International Symposium on Integrative Bioinformatics 2013, IPK-Gatersleben, Germany.
